my Full-HD camcorder films in MTS format and the computer since yesterday afternoon (!!!) process of converting the recorded sequences with the "Xilixoft MTS Converter" into Mpeg2 format (because Magix Video Deluxe with this file format can deal better). To maintain the best possible picture-and sound quality (the movie should be burned to DVD), I set before converting the Resolutionauf AUTO, the picture-and sound quality on HÖCHST synonymous.
Some sequences are between 33 and 77 MB in size and therefore logically the conversion takes longer than the shorter sequences!
But a conversion that takes as many hours for free, even synonymous lot of electricity!
Does anyone of you may be a software with which the whole is faster (at approximately equal or approximate picture-and sound quality)?
My PC has 2 GB of memory and the way other Programs NOT running in the background!

Try yourself acquainted with ffmpeg ... so that you can run multiple threads and as I create synonymous with mts into mpeg2 with scaling around 17-20 fps .... I find more than ok ...

Why you can not directly handle the conversion of Magix VdL if you are working already with it?
Whether it goes by faster, but I do not synonymous.

My PC has 2GB , Well but says nothing about the processor and the like. If you have already convert the clips to process very sensible, I would look around me time for a new PC or other software.
