Frage von emotionshots:Hi,
I've bought a Canon EOS 550D. As an external micro RODE VideoMic.
Yes the sound is clear in VDSLR cameras always bad but on my camera does a periodic tick. It sounds almost like a metronome. Have even a sound file geuploaded.

What do you think?
Thanks

Thank you:)
Sounds like a precious times, the connecting correctly or is rotated, or something.
Antwort von emotionshots:
Yes that's right.
but everything was connected top. On the mic that is not for I have already tried.
Antwort von Tuffy:
Is, I would say a connection error. Either it moves minimally (by the pressure of the rubber flap or so) or not properly connected. Or Male / Female NEN has crack.
Have been rotated with 550D/VideoMic, are general incompatibility is not there.
Antwort von Blackeagle123:
Evt. a bad connection somewhere?
Otherwise, simply remove the bomb. 8)

Hello emotion shots,
I do not know why this is, but I throw now just a link in the discussion:
2:27 In the video, the (cheap) Microphone HTDZ HT-81 from China and tested with 48V phantom power, you hear a click like in the background.
Maybe you can even send a PM to the tester on Youtube, or you are browsing the comments for answers.
Good luck
