Hello,
1) I am in October in the States and thinking of where to bring me a 7D. In the SLR forum you wrote, there is no guarantee problems. Is there anyone here confirmatory / other experiences?
2) I have no differences in the respective models USA / Europe have discovered someone knows about something to the contrary?
It has been so much written about video <-> SLR, for me, the situation is as follows:
For many situations, especially documentary and shoot a good Prosumerkamera is because of the handling and the reduced depth of field, as well as Zebra, Peaking, shot better trans etc etc.
With scenic shooting but it is ideal here also can draw on a large SLR with variable intensity and depth of field. To me this seems ideal, as I will also use the Camera synonymous as good Stillimage SLR. Hence
3) My third question: Returns the 7D a Full HD via HDMI-out during the recording?? For me, a killer criterion, as no folding monitor and a perfect control of depth of field while the recording is essential.

Ideal for scenic shots, it is not safe. For the price but the best solution.
I think the 5D would have to accept you only manage 480p. But I am not sure and do not know if it is synonymous with the 7D different.
Play is on jedenfall 1080p.

As far as I know was scaled usder HDMI output for the one reason for Canon 5D, enzubauen in two of these images 7D mills. All I know is not just whether the statement on FullHD HDMI output for the Canon 7D of coming or of any tester.

Go into the manual 7D Thread and read what they are using HDMI outputs ......
Is a thousand times more useful than an external monitor and regulate the HDMI than over so nen folding part!

I honestly can not understand why: Almost every camcorder features of the Aiptek to SonyPDW-F800 with good reason a swiveling display, synonymous in the photo area, it has proven themselves over time. Why do you feel about it then for video DSLRs, or the G11 disturbing than that?

I do not know what one is forcing synonymous when you unfold a folding screen that will not have to ;-) The choice is still the best equipment.

Where's the HDMI signal is actually worn? Could be avoided by connecting to a field recorder like the AJA AI Pro http://www.aja.com/products/ki-pro/ki-pro-connectors.php the H.264 codec, and recording the same in Apple ProRes 422?

I have already thought about synonymous. For economic reasons, one may assume that BEFORE the codec is tapped, otherwise the camera would need in addition to the cost of Debay, recording Scaling, LiveView scalability, codec, HDMI output and scaling synonymous nochmal extra H.264 playback to make.
However, it is probably erstmal to be seen, as the signal quality will be via HDMI. If you are out of luck this is quite lousy filtered. If only it is, you can also do something better later still limited. Wait ...
In addition, 5D and 7D have significant heat problems in movie mode, which is not preferable HDMI - Out. This is regarding the expected image degradation apparently so severe that Canon are extra and abundantly mentioned in the manual and even for the cameras and warning indicators 'have emergency shut-down'.

With the 5D, it will s.Monitor picked up the action, that is inclusive of all the status indicators. In addition, the 5D does not refer to an external monitor when dranhängt.

I did not even try to HDMI, but according 5D Manual HDMI out is possible during the recording, but only the reduced live-view-picture is reproduced above. We need that in the near future, of so I MUST try it soon time ...

7D, the Manual is not so explicit in this regard, one can see him, but at least that possible via HDMI different Vollformatauflösungen are synonymous throughout the recording. I like those things do not stop, would make any sense in my eyes when I make macros and do not want to use the angle finder.
But somehow I like you, do not stop, sorry guys - but my stop Meihnung. concerning whether LiveView and folding screen.
On the video cameras are still "ok" but I do not think s.einer camera urgently needed.
Währe never a reason to buy for myself, I find s.Videokameras "right Viewfinder" (s.besten in B / W)
