Good evening,
Do I try to keep me as short and understandable as possible.
At first some info:
Since mid-February, I am the proud owner of a Letus Extreme 35mm adaper including mat box, follow focus, Rod Support, Lenses, etc.
The whole tinkered before the camera is quite bulky and heavy. Weight is of course good ... but has its limits.
-In the summer I would like to add me and buy me a pail. Currently I tend to SonyHDR AX-2000 for about 3800 ¬.
-At the weekend I was in a rotation for the first time with the Canon EOS 550D and was the sharpness of the image quality and behavior are extremely surprised and pleased.
I use the camera during shooting was for the famous movie look and my Letus Extreme 35mm adapter almost unused.
-I have now ordered a Canon EOS 550D and a Canon 50mm 1.8 Lens + 1.4 Lens + a Samyang 85mm and a diameter standard in the kit with the camera, I think 18-55mm.
Now to my actual question.
I have very much money in February for the adapter, etc. issued and wonder now if that was not in vain.
Reach I do not use the same quality (or even better) if I have the "movie look pictures" with the Canon EOS 550D do and this also the second-Camera? The SonyHDR-AX2000 I use it as a mobile "camera" for presentational shooting, and Mobile shooting .
I think now my Letus Extreme 35mm adapter for sale and the resulting money to invest in a DSLR rig + Monitor + more Lenses.
What do you think of my idea?
Does anyone know where I have a good DSLR in the Rig complete with box etc. get mat?

An AVCHD cam and a 35mm adapter is actually wasted.
Choose your preferred then can output a 4:2:2 then the cam is worth the whole again.
Must be new so I do not believe it is only the Panasonic HVX 200 which can record 4:2:2 / could. The SonyEX models can apparently only afford with an external tap.

Rig is so ne thing of the money. As are several providers.
As a tip is to give such a thing is too synonymous with the subject here already dozens Threeads.

What I told you at that time and the others of course not written? Although you still defenitiv a Wide Anglebrauchst, there is only a 11-16 Tokina yet so if I'm not mistaken. And I'd look at the times sigma 30mm 1.4, yes even if already then. I find your choice well, selling the Letus and buy yourself still ne Glidecam HD 2000 to the last. Since the video DSLR really want a 35mm adapter None more who buys a halt rather than Canon Zweitcam for these recordings where Dof is desired. Depth of field is in fact something quite synonymous dolls, the typical DSLR fans have to learn that a film of 70%, there is perhaps such a sharp scenes.

So I would not sell the adapter - I find an adapter in combination with Ner good to really good Camera and Lighting, so you can work very well.
But in the end is the s.dir and financial Sittuation of yourself
If I'd had the Letus I give him no more.

I think one has to wonder whether the effort is worthwhile for the Letus and his work. But if he wants to invest good money for a nice rig and Follow Focus, which is definitely a fun to shoot with the Canon, I think mainly because s.die relief by the light, I can imagine that when illuminated the Letus pretty good must be when I look at Moritz his projects so he has a tendency to dark, often at night or in the basement with its rotated for Construction. : D The Canon fit I already estimated. But his sparkling Lenses I find not so practical. Since there is very clear for his videos a very good wide angle.

Lenses of this I have now are all crap and will be sold with ... new ones are already planned and partially already bought ... Canon wiegesagt 50mm1.8, and a 85mm 1.4 Samyang come Schonmal added this month.

And what of poor Lenses You?
