Since my wife several years ago bought a Canon G3 has - with the synonymous allowed to play me ;-) - I'm waiting on a professionally usable Camera with this ingenious folding display. Lang's has taken ...
And synonymous else seems to have everything you need. Good that I have not yet allocated to the 7D.
Since the Nikon D7000 should now be absolutely amazing to me still to convert from Canon to hold.
Photographically seen - in terms of pixel Verschwurbelung - I'm still not convinced so soo of Canon.

Take the sensor 550, the same Videospezifiaktionen, the old system to the age of 9 AF 50 D, to spare the magnesium housing and make of it a plastic housing, and sells the camera for about 200 ¬ more than the old 50 .... D. ...
Since only very few clear advantages for 550 D a (faster burst with only 58 images s.Stück, second Wheel, Drathlossteuerung of flash units, and spirit are s.LCD Viewfinder - of 7 D - only 96% Viewfinder, etc etc
I'm curious if the swiveling LCD really interested in so many customers. This one would have seen even worse s.den sales of the 550 or 7 D.

The s.den great "new" Canon is but they share important features with regard to video mode ... There's almost no difference I would say.
Nikon gets the moment somehow not quite on the series or wants to close the video mode ... no plan what to do there:) But slowly the ice is thin ... Photokina and the closer. Given what has to happen

The differences will still be in the Peanutsbereich. Swivel display like it, of course, but I fear that the 720p mode will be like the other Canon's and I would not feel like it.

er the question for me is synonymous but as a practical user, as with the auto focus looks like. the test video of the sony alpha 33 + 55 compared to the 550s looked really promising. is blocked if the good in similar (!), in the 60 d, then that would be my opinion, together with the rotating monitor an additional expenditure of ¬ 300 worth. what has held me of the 550 d, was not the rotating monitor. make the best of times because the frog perspective as an old and I have to protect my knee. the canon 550 d cost you the cheapest synonymous providers, who can not deliver (!), after all, about 660 ¬. 330 ¬ more for foldable and jagged autofocus are then ok, if the video in the 720p mode compared to the 1080i is not blurred, it reported at least active digital video in its current issue still on the 550 d.
