Frage von Mardilo:Have just seen that a video file can be
up to 4GB in size.
That are only a few minutes?
So I would definitely fall synonymous times longer able to film s.Stück.
Is it possible to simply save the file directly during the recording of such a laptop?
Antwort von srone:
a limitation of the FAT 32 file system is basically a dslr is not designed for long movies as far as I know the 7d, however, has an HDMI output, which would ask what is to come out really neat or with a video image-overlay menu remains, then the problem that your laptop probably does not have hdmi input, with a desktop pc you could plug something eg via eg retrofit DeckLink card etc, whether it sowas fürn laptop I do not know exist, if so wirds probably expensive, DSLRs are suitable mainly for scenic stop company, where you just need a few minutes s.stück.

So on usb looks really you can capture directly to a laptop with the accompanying software. photos to all cases for video not I've tested. as has been said that 4gb exisitieren due to the FAT32 file on the card. addition, it is still a lock of 29min (built around the dual, ie 10gb), so that part still as fotoapperat passes. So even if it could be eliminated in future the fat32 problem, yet there is always the internal boundary.
But: the canon 7D's just not a camcorder. everything you can not do so, for many things it is sensational, not for some.
