+ Relatively backward compatible (older EF Lenses or ex flashes are used to 100%
- Very poor performance dissolved live image (it must be with an extra button in focus, the shutter as the live image focusing only works with Canon s.der 7 F)
- Only 1 years warranty (2 years warranty)
A 500
+ Stabilizer in the housing, wherein the lowest cost
+ Very good continuous shooting mode
+ HDR in the device
+ Best live images (and all points simple speed auto! Chosen of the Camera)
+ Swivel screen
- Sonybekannte somewhat smaller and darker viewfinder
- Sonyhat simply no real good name, despite good DSLR Camera
Pentax KX
+ Stabilizer in the housing, wherein the lowest cost
+ Very well-designed housing (Location and characteristics of the keys and buttons)
+ Very stable housing (metal chassis)
+ Is operated with 4 AA cells, thus universally without battery pack (Canon, Nikon and Sony) used
+ HDR in the Camera
+ Very extensive editing in the camera already possible
+ - DNG RAW format
- Worse Lens bid
- Camera is very difficult synonymous synonymous because of the 4 AA cells
- Not with all the AA cells can be operated well
And finally the most important thing, please go to the store and'll take the candidate once in the hand and look at the menu. This quickly drops out a model.

Although I can not tell you much about the difference between the D5000 and the 500D, but I have (a 500D + accessories, 4 Batteries, Battery Grip to sell memory cards) to ... synonymous to fast. If you should have Interresse, you meld with me:

I would tend in your situation is probably more likely to Canon - under which the video function on my Canon at the moment just seems better and more mature.
On the other hand, I would need synonymous've already broken some of Nikon's lying around - would therefore make sense to me the only variant with a Nikon video feature I sofenr a new body:)
I seriously do not think so are the differences between the two cameras. Much more important is, as mentioned, the handling and how you handle it coming. The feeling in the hand must be right easy.
And what is more important than the camera itself: The Lens.
Since wilt take a vacation, it is probably a super zoom? Since you will be sure to witness during normal Ausbelichtung little difference between the Nikon and Canon.
A fast AF is often overstated synonymous mE .. Who does not grad Sports Photos should make the AF speed with no problems :-)

problems you have video material of nikon cameras at processed? mhhh funny - the mjpeg codec should actually not be soo system resources. I only had time test as footage of the d90 system on my very elderly (3GHz dual core (not core 2 duo) and 1gb ram) and it ran into some Edius. at least to render the sequence-liquid - in this preview, it ran a bit slower.

Canon Germany, Austria and Switzerland returns the 550 D at the current rate is not enough.

For a purchased product in Germany, the usual warranty applies in Germany, where the camera is no preference. Applies in this respect: Cheaper is better.
