Frage von hiasl:Hello,
I've got a question. Actually, yes I wanted to buy the Canon HF11 both to get into the HD world, the other I would have (it be a good choice for my filming, regarded mainly snowboarding).
Having a dealer with interesting prices found in Vienna, I wanted them there synonymous order. Unfortunately, I was told that the camera would have already expired.
Now my question, there are already available or planned successor models of interest, or should I just order the HF11 from another dealer? Or better yet, the HF10 or HF20?
I'm fairly positive that is basically set as far as the camera. At least I could not find many negative points in my research.
Perhaps I can give synonymous someone comments on my choice.
Thank you.

The successor models HF20/HF200 all have a smaller chip and therefore worse Lowlightverhalten to offer in return (but a slightly better resolution for photos, a little more zoom and a few more or less unnecessary features, face detection, xvColor, etc.).
But right now all have to be much cheaper.
Further follow-up model (; and current flagship) would be the S100 RF / HF S10, for example Zt at myby for 870 euros will get relatively cheap.
http://geizhals.at/deutschland/a393949.html If the link appears nothing Request evtuell times via email where. Misco is insolvent, however, must be dazusagen. Can you even ask once synonymous with the dealer in Vienna, what it would cost there. I personally would prefer that the other models.
The HF11 has over its predecessors the way the slight advantage that one with the quality setting 24 Mbit / s can hold. (; HF10/100 max. 17 mbit / s).
EDIT: And if it does not necessarily has to be Canon, I would suggest you also still the Panasonic SD 300 / TM 300 / HS 300th All differ only in internal memory. SD = SD only card, TM = 32 gig internal flash, HS = 120 gig hard drive

Hello,
Thank you for your response schonmal.
the difference in chip size I was already aware of. therefore a HF2x would rather be 2 to 3 choice. I'm interested in photos with a video camera in fact not at all, but are good SLR cameras. ;-)
among the targeted S models, the expected quality in spite of great chip and a higher pixel number does not slow down his better. also frightens me, the 58mm filter diameter a little off. for 37mm, I'd have interesting / affordable adapter (; Wide angle / fisheye) gesehn.gibts here a counter-argument? Other opinion?
because of the 24Mbit / s compared to the HF10, I'd just veer towards 11er.
originally was the fact that reflexion whether there are generally planned successor (; apart of the 20s series) for the 10er/11er, since both are already a zeiterl s.markt.
thx

Another descendant of HF10/11/100 there will be no more.
There are, however, have a successor to the HF20 and the RF turn-S10 planned, but think of the chip sizes, I like her and only offer more features (; improved image stabilization, night mode).
among the targeted S models, the expected quality in spite of great chip and a higher pixel number does not slow down his better. That's true, but the RF S100 is indeed synonymous not too much more expensive than the HF11. And I would prefer the HF S, because it offers more manual settings, a focus ring u the higher picture resolution - and especially because it is still in production ;-)
How it looks like with the accessories I unfortunately do not know, but yeah I can imagine that the 37mm adapter is cheaper to have.
