Frage von Rony23:Hi,
the DV / HDV port s.meiner Canon HV30 is broken. In Gibts synonymous much to read on the web. I am not the first ... a repair would cost about 400 ¬. That to me is the whole appearance but worth it. But today you get almost the same camera again ...
What their options are now for me?
1. To feed the films and videos on another HDV player. If so, then what? Do you know there cheaper alternatives? Extremely cheap HDV cameras with miniDV cassettes and functioning Firewire?
2. I have an iMac27 '. Is there any way via the HDMI output of the camera into the Mac to come? 've Read of various adapters, but what is right? And if there is for the Mini Display Port adapter, who is recognized as of any capture program?
3. New Camera buy, where I lack the wherewithal to do it right now. It's no fun every 2 years to buy a new cam .. what would you recommend as a counterpart to the Canon HV30?
Am grateful for every answer!
Regards

Regarding item 2, I can not tell you anything.
But in point 1 and 3 you treat it roughly the same questions.
If you do not want to switch everything, but want to continue using the HV-30, then you need at least a so-called capture bitch, in contrast to your camera does not take up, perhaps, but the Firewire port is OK.
It would be better in my opinion anyway, because if the second camera would be fully functional.
You have not much choice anyway, look at this:
