what do you mean, the camera takes up no more? In which mode (camera / VCR) is doing exactly what your camcorder is not what he did before? Is there an error message may (what?)?
Do not laugh, the causes are often trivial:
Have you inserted a tape? A charged battery or the AC adapter connected? Is the camcorder?
