Hello,
I have had for some time following problem with my Canon MV-650i miniDV Camera:
The camera is running properly about 1 1 / 4 to 1 1 / 2 hours, then see at the camera starts beeping loudly and is a TAPE errors.
The camera was therefore already at Canon Service, result found: No error.
When I insert a different tape for the error, gehts wieder ressources if nich again I must take another and then leaves.
I set the camera to actually just a jump to the camera image on my laptop to transfer rights to the tape deck I need not necessarily only the camera always asked for it, that runs a recording, otherwise it will turn off.
So if one of you has a solution to the problem, I would be very happy.

Hello,
Your camcorder is synonymous switches off whenever he runs over the network? A cartridge may be inserted in any case, otherwise again takes up the shutdown.
For consumer devices, it is so common that just shuts off after 5 minutes the entire camcorder, although the closure would be sufficient for the drive.
PS: If your camcorder does only problem with this one tape, then throw it away and take a new one. ;-)

No, that tape is no preference that I'm in the drive, I even once got a package bought new tapes and even pushes the camera off after 1 1 / 4 hours.
