Frage von ckART:Can the Canon Camera XF 300 (and Canon professional camcorder with MPEG-2 HD) to work with the editing program Pinncale Film Studio 14 easily?
Thank you for your answers and advice.
Antwort von ckART:
We now have eineCanonXF300 Camera. This uses a card and wrote "MFX" files to mpeg2. Can Pinnacle Studio 14 does not understand this format?
I would be very grateful if someone could give me advice.
Antwort von Bernd E.:
MXF is a data container that is in the broadcast world at home: Because there would be more surprising if an amateur program could start something. The best way probably would be a transition to a more professional software - or if necessary, a convert the recordings into an understandable format for Pinnacle Studio. Whether there are viable solutions but in general, or the s.Ende not cost more than equal to purchase another NLE, I can not say.
Antwort von nordheide:
It is possible that the XF300 a software package here that can convert to a compatible format?
Antwort von ckART:
Thank you for your answers.
Someone told me, Pinnacle does not understand this format! Only Programs like AVID, Premiere or Final Cut (Apple) can do that
I will try to call Pinnacle and Canon.
Antwort von jwd96:
Maybe MPEG Streamclip to convert that eat almost everything (I have not tried yet MXF)
Antwort von Tuffy:
Maybe MPEG Streamclip to convert that eat almost everything (I have not tried yet MXF) MXF is the slightest problem, this is just the container. The question is whether the material is to convert even 422, should remain what it is.
If you try, you should choose something like the Avid DNxHD codec, which is in the MOV container, can Pinnacle something?
If in doubt, it would not have been stupid before the purchase, Pinnalce to call or read the codec support.
I would be synonymous seek a more professional software solution, I think in the segment's still Vegas and Magix (the larger versions)
Greetings!

Exciting that he recognizes as an XDCAM there.
The Adobe Media Encoder can do it, but will certainly not be there ...
