For 3000 ¬ there are significantly better, but synonymous with XLR 3-chip, with 2-3 setting rings for Focus, Aperture, zoom. OK, the Canon probably has the better codec, but initially reveals for the first time anything about the expected image quality. And level the competition or the department's own product with the XHA1s has hung quite high.

Although these are all Einchipper, but have much larger chips (well over one inch) installed as the third of an inch of the XF100.
Somehow I have a bad feeling about a third of an inch-Einchipkamera.

The XF100 is already a very nice little camera.
What bothers me a little, the following points:
- Insufficient Viewfinder Resolution
- ND-automatic
- Gain levels only gradually over a selectable button
- Quality of materials and the articulation of the display

Greetings Quite so simple is not. The good 1-chipper like the Red pick up the color problem on the high resolution chip out again. If all colors have to be read on a single chip, the image information is reduced, because then sit on a chip diodes for all 3 colors. A 3-chip camera produces full Resolutionfür each Color. A 1-Chipper, the only corresponding high-resolution chip. In this respect the promises 1/3-Inch-Sonsor the XF100 with 2MP Resolution no good for the effective Resolutiondes image.
