Frage von XH-A1:I would like to buy a XH-A1, as they here from Slashcam test very well placed.
Now we are reading in the forum but not very good.
Can anyone definitely me or advise?
Or what camcorder would be better?
Antwort von Mink:
The XHA1 is a very good all-rounder, and for the price (unbeatable especially Gebrauchtpreis).
What do you want do with them? Only when on telling you that you can perhaps help you or recommend a camcorder.
Where did you get what substantively bad read on the XHA1 here in the forum?
Antwort von XH-A1:
I like movies and quite often synonymous in weddings, so far only with a Canon FS11. But now wanted to change to something better and more professional.
Here I've read in the forum that there is in the XH A1 delays often to dropouts, between sound and image, etc.
Antwort von Mink:
I've filmed with some XHA1 and the handful of drop-outs were always on the move the tapes I've used in the moment.
Guck dir doch mal in the SonyFX7. Also nice and costs a little less than the XHA1.
What do you miss s.der FS11?
Antwort von Axel:
Here I've read in the forum that there is in the XH A1 delays often to dropouts, between sound and image, etc. That with the dropouts would, most likely a dirty or worn head drum, including the A1 but less inclined than the Canon DV camcorder. Asynchrony with HDV (and other codecs synonymous) is the fault of NLEs that with the fact then when you start and stop recording dropouts inevitably arise simply can not handle. These problems are notorious.
Antwort von XH-A1:
which means NLEs?
So when the dropouts start and stop are normal.
Or it gives me the difficulties in editing the material?
How do I get the rotated images of the XH A1 on a calculator without a Firewire port? Is that all?
Antwort von Axel:
You need Firewire and a
N on-L inear
P rogram editing, in German editing program. Everything else will be all right.
Antwort von XH-A1:
I can put the stuff on a MAC with iMovie capture and then the files on my PC and then with my editing program cut?
Antwort von Axel:
I can put the stuff on a MAC with iMovie capture and then the files on my PC and then with my editing program cut? No.. iMovie uses the so-called "Apple Intermediate Codec", which is not available on Windows PCs. But iMovie is itself a nonlinear editing, if you just begin with the filming, but shred it around a little bit, here's at least will not asynchronously, and as an entry is okay iMovie. If you want to cut on a PC, you will come to a firewire card is not around, although not cost much.
