Frage von R3D:Moin,
The Canon XL1 has a true 16:9 as her successor, the XL2?
And what are the most serious differences? Could you pictures of both cameras blend differences without seeing?

Antwort von Tong-Len:
as far as I know, has only the xl2 true 16:9 with 16:9 chips
to ask whether we can mix with native 16:9 anamorphic 16:9 (from 4:3 chips) of different cameras, without which it strikes the viewer is negative but interesting and occupied me for a long time synonymous.
I soon would have to mix the following XL2, XL2, DVX100
the project should preferably be in 16:9.
I hope this works ... otherwise it must halt 4:3 (<- but then again is stupid because even the xl2 has 16:9 chips)
My auftraggeber from the united states next week send me a tape with ntsc 16:9 canon xl2 recordings. 16:9 pana dvx100 anamophes I already have.
Then I test the mal ... Perhaps yes, but know someone already synonymous bescheid =)

"The Canon XL1 has a true 16:9 as her successor, the XL2?" Definitely: no. In widescreen mode, the XL-1 cuts 144 vertical lines and then stretching the picture again anamorph.

Thank you, what do I do if I have the Canon XL2 material, but no Canon XL2 more ..... argh: (- with the Panasonic Anamorphic And - wants as little as possible difference in the material ....
R3D @ nen knows a good camera rental (Hamburg area - except Centric / Ludwig)?
