I have 3 months before a used Canon XL1S at Ebay purchased. Since I have always problems with the drive.
Initially, the camera or just with stripes and blocks in the Picture. A cleaning cartridge half and everything went well.
But after about 5 hours so I was recording the same problem again. Recovery helped the cleaning cartridge.
At that time you advised me to other bands. I climbed on of Sony Premium SonyExcellence. It helped, but not for long.
After 10 hours sensate, the Canon then suddenly nothing more. Without referring to pollution or tape blocks. I grabbed again for cleaning cartridge. It helped while back, but not for long.
Today I have in a phase of good weather, fast 1.5 rotated. Now, I must note with dismay that the camera once again nothing has.
I can think of that gambling no longer afford. Is there someone who has the camera (think the drive) can repair? What will cost something? I live in Kerpen, near Cologne.
One thing is for me in any case clear:
NEVER AGAIN EBAY. I am currently not well financially and therefore I thought on Ebay I find something good. And now das From what I now s.Ausfall, new tapes, cleaning cartridges, new battery because the old ausgenudelt had no end and now the repair had paid everything, I would have hoped for a new synonymous can buy.

So, I have just phoned times with Canon. Here are my experiences:
Service number is 0180/5006022. I learned after the first announcement the
