Frage von dudeson:Hey guys,
we're shooting an Ultra Short and get this little bit for the XM2 Money. However, our shooting schedule is very tight, try not so much with going. Therefore, I wanted to hiermal information in advance of what we do with the can so and what we should avoid, the manual is here, unfortunately, only what is possible, not what the Cam really good. (Audio may be neglected)
We turn s.Waldrand in oblique incident light with rich shades of green and lots of light / shadow (about 15 time clock, so the sun is already relatively low). We hope for sunshine, but there are changes in the settings when it's cloudy? What we want is about 250 meters of Total ne ne and focus shift of about 0.2 to infinity. What settings should be avoided, or where there are the weaknesses of the Cam / or which settings should be avoided with her?
Now to the specific questions: I've heard that the cam can 16:9, but is that true 16:9 or 4:3, we should turn and make it purely in the post-bar? Would you have additional aperture / filter recommend? Is there a wrong way or what the best settings: transmission to the PC? Firewire card & co are present (another thread about this I've already read, I just wanted to know whether there is another insider knowledge to).
Thanks & best regards
PS: If the questions seem silly, it is our first short film that would go public and so far we have trained with pure Consumercams.

The XM2 is not a true 16:9.
The image quality is the same as if you purely do the bars in the mail.
The XM2 has only one ND filter.
Maybe the too little.
Especially if you do want the focus moves must be fully open aperture.
Then you need any additional ND filter

If you capture with your software in DV aufnimmst you nothing wrong, then that's ne direct 1:1 copy as a file on the hard drive.
