Frage von xracy:Sirs,
time I hope you can help me next.
Basic Info Currently I'm making a documentary with a DV camera.
I'll cut with Premiere Pro 1.5
About 40 hours of DV material will probably come together.
Condition At the moment "capture" me through Premiere one complete DV cassette
and then cut out the botched scenes and share the movie in
individual settings and save them from a DV-AVI files.
My concern The story book or the capture with Premiere, I think quite ineffective, it will be
Audio adjustments and made the same - which I still really did not
need. Now I'm looking for a program to be able to effectively capture.
My wish program should have the following functions:
- Can not read very large dv-avi files of the hard drive
- A very quick / easy to split the file should be possible
- A "real" story board (with survey) should be present
- Easy to save the settings should be possible to split
So far I've tried the program Scenalyzer, but I am quite dissatisfied with it. - Is like synonymous.
My questions Which Capture Programs used it?
and how is your approach?
What Capture program has my desired functionality? (all exsistiert such a program?)
I hope that you understand her my concerns, if not then I apologize for the LAYMAN formulations. :-)

In very many bands with a lot of "junk" (idle) I copy a collection of Camera to Camera.
Then I make a 08/15 DV Capture for complete tapes.
Is then split into very good, good and Notszenen of Hand walk. These clips are synonymous and thematically named folders stored in topics. I think that helps me get ideas for the cut.
At the stage I put myself always synonymous with lists that I umschuffele long until a movie comes of it. By Aufsplitterei apparently the pictures so I have in my head that I have a storyboard feature erstmal not need.
From the list, I will tinker a rough cut of the bar.

I know of none. At first I thought CatDV (an archive program) would probably answer for you. But that is perhaps more likely to log on tape.
Good luck

CatDV can unfortunately only the Mac version will be used for capturing synonymous.

Hello,
Although am not cut Spezi, but when the time code is neat to at least with any good program with the batch capture function can be decided in advance what the cut will save so erstmal time. With Ulead MediaStudio Pro Video Capture says.
It scans the tape before the recording. This included the software in Spulschnelllauf the scenes, and lists them in a batch capture list - The cutter can choose before you commit. The problem with the source window is too long resolved.
They ought to probably go with a good program like Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5.
The premiere with its nested control concept can not convince everyone is known.
Or have I misunderstood you, and it comes after capturing to the other "history" of the program's?
Here you get so many of the frequently cut because someone needs to know yes bescheid.
Please, no angry words, I cut rookie ....

Thank you for your responses. :-)
I now capture the entire DV tabes with Premiere 6.0, a and then share them in different sequences. (The advantages in Premiere 6.0 is not always a DV audio alignment is done ... -> audio garbage -> takes a long time and consume disk nonsense)
The "real" cutting, I would make in Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5. (In my opinion, a class program, especially if one anyway just to DV has rotated)
@ Jan
A batch processing, I do not want to because it affected your DV master tapes under it, let alone the DV player ...
What really disturbs me for Premiere, which it has no
real story book management. (sufficient for smaller projects, but for a good 40 hours of material will have the whole thing) rather confusing

Just what you mean, what makes your Appro with 6.0 files if you paste it there?
The "real" cutting, I would make in Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5. Should you find there are no audio alignment, I would be very grateful for detailed descriptions. This illusion I had at the beginning of my work with Pro synonymous.

Hello you,
the weaknesses of the batch function, I did not yet know about them and have never been negative, which read in trade magazines, the more likely it is usually very useful.
In the price category gibts surely nothing better than Pro 1.5 for PC users, but with slight smears Pinnacle Edition Pro 5 Mac users will smile again, they have Final Cut Pro 5 in roughly the same price range, it gibts hardly bad opinions other than the high system requirements.
Well my PC is too weak to mitzumischen there still needs to save a little ...

Gruß Jörg nabend Jörg,
obviously I've expressed myself unclear. In Premiere 6, no audio adjustments are carried out. -> The workflow is therefore easy for me better. Since I usually capture an entire DV tape (60 min), ie a movie file is about 13 gig. From this file, I cut out the garbage, because my raw material is smaller and only then do I import the individual files that I will use wirlich synonymous for cutting in Premiere Pro book. At that time a Audioangleich makes sense for me before, but only inefficiently. -> Time is lost and precious disk space.

www.kaiprivat.de nabend KaiBelow,
jepp, there have been tested, but has only really a huge drawback for me, it can not handle files of a hard drive and thus, unfortunately, not suitable for my workflow. - The program should be able to read movie files of the hard drive. (btw: I do not want a batch processing and the like, which uses only from the video heads. Thus, a DV player is not really cheap: - /)
