Frage von michael1701:Hi All,
after I have beaten me in recent days and weeks, the nights around the ears, this forum is my last hope.
The following problem:
- I own a Canon MV700 with Firewire
- When my system was still "naked", ie without Service Pack 2 and several tools and Programs had not yet installed, I was able to capture videos of my camcorder without any problems
Now I have installed all my Progs again we see that the capture broke - depending on the choice of quality level - after a few seconds s.and the system is rather slow, which I usually reboot via a reset switch forces.
My attempt to eliminate system drivers by hand, various Programs can not even boot, and so far have achieved no success.
Hat jmd perhaps the same problems with his Canon MV 700??
If the Service Pack 2 to blame??
It can not be true that I always re-install my system when I want to capture a video.
Once before, many thanks!
Greeting
Michael

If the Service Pack 2 to blame?? Hello Michael,
we must be aware that the Firewire interface for Microsoft was a thorn in the side of one hand, since the Apple is competing and the other (up to SP2!) easily and immediately and without any special drivers to install has worked. So far, no one objected to me synonymous when I say, Microsoft had deliberately built into the error SP2 to umzupolen the user to the USB interface.
