I made the thread in the Avid forum once before but am not so sure if he was not here sooner heard her:)
Normally, I cut in the FH and there I have a tape drive. However, I must finish a project at home. To this end I have connected my Canon XM2 via Firewire with my notebook. In Windows, it is recognized and I can access via Movie Maker, etc. synonymous to it.
In Avid Xpress Pro HD, I get it but not go. I went to DECK Configuration and wished to set up the Canon. First I created a channel, "firewire on OHCI" and then as a deck is a Canon DM-XL1 (According to another forum function) because no XM2 stands for Choice. Now when I go into the Capture tool, however, stands below the deck, and no, I can not access the camera. I hope that I can help someone. I have already tasted as synonymous generic device but that does not synonymous work? Have I forgotten anything?
