Frage von tauchertraum:Video Hello Friends,
I do not look all the way through. Which method gives a better result for the capture of HDV .. Directly in the premiere recording on location or in?
Thank you very much
Micha

Depends on your software: the tape recording is compressed, if your editing software to record uncompressed streams can be the result of course "better". However, you'll need tons of hard ;-)
Whether your subject is not truly an uncompressed record requires (rapid, artifact-prone movements), would then be questioned.

Why do you OnLocation would auto uncompressed record?
In the case Super8 video capture, I transfer always with OnLocation directly on the hard drive ... otherwise HDVSplit with the tape or via PPCS3 also made of tape.

Another addition to this:
Onlocation is not a substitute for the Premiere's own capture tool, but a special software to go directly to hard drive s.Set recorded (direct-to-disk solution) and the recordings started immediately to control the recording without long tape out and herspulen them.
When the footage is already on tape, you of course, the Premiere's own capture tool. OnLocation, there is only an unnecessary detour.
