Frage von Frank St:As a photographer I did recently help me deal with capturing and encoding issues, and now, but my last trip report on IT hardware and I spent some time with the research on this and other Internet platforms synonymous to inform me - Nevertheless, I am satisfied with my created DVD's.
The hardware background:
SonyHandycam DCR-PC3E PAL.
DVD player with progressive scan at 480p and 720p. Component output is used.
HDTV BenQ DV3750 37 "TV as a playback device.
The footage was recorded in 16:9 mode.
The themes of interlacing and progressive scan, I have worked through and believe I have synonymous understand these problems, but it seems to me to still be a few points in this way that make me unzufirden with the result of my work:
I close the camcorder via S-video cable directly s.den HDTV Anund the tape s.ist (Bewegngs) blur and fragment-rich picture the result - Presumption play: interlacing ...?!
Same technique s.Röhrenfernsehgerät with 16:9 support = better picture ... guess: Halbzeilenbilder - "apparently" better result ..
Synonymous, I am at a loss what settings I with the Pinnacle software (Ver pros. 10) to capture, write on DVD to use:
I have it with PAL 16:9 progressive attempt DV and MPEG, as well as shooting mode, the resulting movie file for burning to DVD re-encoded and progressively'm not satisfied with the illustrated picture on your HDTV.
I rather suspect that my claims laeienhaften s.The hochgegriffen to have representation, the input of the HDTV picture just inflates to 37 "and thus the result of me criticizing Qualitätdverlust ...
Ouch these facts resulted herraus my questions, generalizing here is:
What are the expectations I may have s.The quality of the film (shown s.HDTV and what settings should I use in software to achieve the optimal outcome?
Thank you in advance for helpful posts!

Mark, I'm not so sure where is now the Qualitätsbottleneck.
Next time I would rather shoot with an HDV camera, when I output to an HD-Ready striving screen. These devices generate very different picture reserves, compared with a PAL device. Even with my shots as 3chip certainly very good, but old Panasonic NV-MX350 looks on an HD-ready rather modest. And Resolutionbleiben synonymous over SVHS to keep pace than PAL.
Then kanns s.der quality of the scalers are - in HD-Ready screen, or s.Player. At the prices of perhaps 150 or 200 euro is just always the question of what can be built into the players for scaler - hardly high. In the HD-ready screens gehts in some cases even sooner.
For me it is quite clear: if you want HD (V) quality, then you should be synonymous to film in this quality, cut and print (via component or hdmi dvi synonymous if necessary). The rest is unsatisfactory.
