I'm new here, and have a problem.
I have a Sony Handy Cam Mini DV "with digital zoom of 120x.
Quite satisfied with the action.
I am a proud owner of Vegas 6.0, but I have a problem:
When I recognize my cam with Firewire connections for PC and everything so ... but then comes a window, a startup:
Capturing Vegas
Magix Video Deluxe 2005/2006 (I'm synonymous)
Then I click Vegas, wait until the progi opens ... And so now?, nothing comes of capturing, then I'll go under File / click Capture, and no nothing happened.
So I've googled and have found in the same forum:

And this is almost the same problem. And the answer is then:
You can use the following address:
Open the Capture window.
There, the menu Optinons / Preferences "- Tab" Capture ".
There is an entry for "minimum clip length.
Deactivate this listing and the CapturingCapturing explained in the glossary will work.
BUT I do not understand. Where the Capture window is erstmal??
What is a rider?? And where is this option "minimum clip length??
Please help me, I repeat, a SONY VEGAS 6.0.
Who can explain it to me just so I could understand it?

In Vegas, the directory will start
VidCap capture tool - this time. Then vote out there - and not in Vegas - on the Options / Preferences, and in the tab "Capture" the choice of "minimum clip length (seconds)" (green Hakerl rid of).
Incidentally, the current version 6d (is build 210), and no longer 6a. The described error was corrected in an update to 6a - and in 6a were still more errors. Download them so be sure to down the latest version of the SonyPage and install it.

Is a free update - had to pay for Sonybisher only the jumps to the next full version of the full version.
VidCap should go, if everything is properly installed and registered.

The information that you have quoted me because of that is very old and refers to Vegas versions prior to 5.0. From Vegas 5.0, no longer valid, so do not synonymous to the question posed here in Vegas 6.0.

The setting there is in V5 and V6, but not the related problem during capture, which the previous version yet.
