Frage von melone:I'll do this now, but on a topic.
Take for example two-Manfrotto Tripods, since I now want to decide between the two.
The C253 weighs 1350g of carbon, the same design A253 aluminum weighs 1590g. Both have maximum loudly Manufacturer. Load of 4.5 kilograms. 50EUR price difference.
Question: Which is more stable?
Follow-up question would be how many grams of carbon must be used to hinzubekommen the same stability as the aluminum tripod.
Now, if the carbon tripod weighs less true, but it would have the same stability as the aluminum tripod, then the advantage would be the C253 compared to the A253 "only" at the weight.
If, however, now as much carbon was used as the aluminum tripod, then the advantage would be the C253 compared to the A253 not only in weight but synonymous with stability.
Antwort von B.DeKid:
CARBON is good if it was well placed. And is therefore more suitable than aluminum.
(; Be set up on mountain bike frame, this should be straight downhill on carbon or steel because at higher speed, carbon is too easy and the bike faster s.Haftung lose!)

B. DeKid Hi!
So you think that the C253 is better than the A253?
Can the carbon onto the tripod legs or the totally solid?
Still had no carbon tripod in hand.

Has anyone else ne opinion?
Today, I would still order. : - /

So, I had long been a Manfrotto carbon tripod. This has no little bent, was much lighter than aluminum and looked better.
It is only the question of whether you put so much emphasis on the lower weight. My present is again completely of aluminum (; ENG 75). I do not know how hard you want to load it, but if you s.The Herstellervorgabn half of these would need to be equally stable.

Antwort von tommyb:
Carbon fiber (; or Carbon is synonymous) of stability similar to aluminum. It is easier to break under certain stress while aluminum is bent.
The low own weight, however, can be a problem if the tripod wobbles slightly by stronger winds. Furthermore, a tripod made of carbon fiber (for cooler environments, such as the North Pole) is not recommended because it can break very quickly.
The 300 to 400 g less weight should not be underestimated anyway - 8 hours a day, you notice it might. Then again, bad boys can be made of aluminum with a monopod much more effectively ward off;)

So thank you for your helpful answers :-)
I am now decided and ordered the C253.
