Frage von Doemmi:Do not fast on the right topic for my problem.
I have some AVI files, which I gladly would like to edit in Premiere. When I've imported it, was merely to hear the sound but no picture to see. A friend recommended me out to install new codecs (K-Lite Codec Package), which I did. Now, it was exactly the opposite is the case. Picture here, but no sound.
Nu, I have again the Vista Codec Package installed, now it displays when you import the same warning, the sound would not be supported ... The video has a bitrate of 112 kbit / s

A friend recommended me out to install new codecs who has such friends, does not need any more enemies.
The correct way would be missing the codec to identify and target nachzuinstallieren.
The attempt to dispose of codec packs, otherwise soon nothing more.

And how can I delete the codecs? In the "remove software" are not listed.
And gibts ne solution for my problem?
Antwort von Jörg:
Hi,
Control Panel-> System-> Hardware-> Device Manager> Audio Video Codecs u-> highlight and delete accordingly.
That works, however, not always so smooth, such a tool then you codec sniper and probiers it.
Then you're of such things as install codec packs cured.
