in various tests and / or product, there are different statements as to whether the SD can output 300, a color-bars test pattern to record /. This feature I have not yet discovered s.meiner SD 300th So are the product right, the claim that this feature did not exist, or did I just do not yet discovered? Why do you want to record a test image or spend? What is the point in the digital recording?

I've been thinking about it synonymous;). Like I said, the SonyVX 1000 had this feature, synonymous my FX1 and in some product information to SD 300 it emerges synonymous. I can really only be explained within the meaning of terms connected to analog (control) monitors to precisely adjust each monitor on the camera and then to control the brightness and color images relating as closely as possible.
Perhaps you get out of the synonymous when one views a test image as a jpg-file to the SD card writes. Whether it detects the camera? It'll try it.
