No matter what the aspect ratio and pixel aspect ratio is the cause. Compressor creates the stubborn set 4:3 ratio. But I want to get a mpeg2, the 720x576 large (so is) as the starting material. I did it with square pixels and pixels with different aspect ratios (1.07, etc.) attempts. Every time I get the mpeg2 at 720x540. The video format I have of course made it to PAL, but the synonymous makes no difference. The summary is very nicely synonymous 720x576. After the send ... but oh well You know: (

The source material (was mov) created in After Effects 6.5. The mpeg2 to be inserted into DVD Studio Pro. The Apple Compressor is version 2.0.1. The two Programs are from the Final Cut Studio HD package.

4:3 option is calculated by the ratio 720x540Pixel (4 * 180x3 * 180).
Perhaps because something goes wrong.

interressant is that the problem is perhaps even more far-reaching reason: because I just simply a mpeg2 created on the PC. There it was the size of 720x576. Then I have it saved on the server and pulled me to the Mac. And lo and behold, the size is 720x540 AAARRRGG!
That being said, it is not possible that the apple compressor does a given size, rather than squeezing every picture in the 4:3 format?

For example if I want to import the file into DVD Studio Pro, there is so, how big it is. And if they are with the Quicktime Player opens and looks at them next to the original film, we see the distortion significantly.

As far as I know, "old" bug from Compressor 2 or display problem.
Look with the VLC (videolan.org) or Quicktime which aspect ratio and frame rate which Resolutionbei which was actually produced.
Updates made of Final Cut, etc.? Software Update?
Otherwise, try again in Compressor, OR direct export with Quicktime from Final Cut Pro. For me half the time to re-create an entirely new configuration for my purposes in Compressor 2.
Cast your sequence settings? 16:9 and PAL?
