Now it's time. I would finally go to a new calculator for HD editing zusammenzuschrauben. The software will be the existing WinXP Pro and Canopus Edius HDV for cutting of material used.
What do you of the following components?

Does this combination the use of one monitor for Edius and the other as an HD preview monitor?
If the sound synchronously over a sound system to play?
Would the Asus P5Q Pro synonymous ok? this is 50, - EUR cheaper!

the system as you plan, is almost identical with mine.
What does stand out a bit negative, the 450W power supply. From the Manufacturer There are a few toads significantly more power. I would rather become a part tend 550W, then you're on the safe Page ...

If it is right to me, is distributed to 2 Edius car monitor if available. Since you have a monitor on the timeline and input-output window s.anderen and monitor all the bins and so. Whether the line for a full preview can be reconfigured grad I know not.

I have now the calculator zudsammengebastelt as planned. The only major difference is the graphics card.
I took an ATI HD3870 Ultimate. While I was with the quality of the display of normal Prgrammoberflächen am very satisfied - very clean and sharp - unfortunately, I can preview the image in Edius not say. This effect is unschaft and more on VHS level. Both monitors are LG L246WH, 24'', 10920x1200 and connected via DVI. Videos in Windows Media Player or Nero Showtime with the Theater mode where ebefalls are blurred.
From SonyHC1 on YUV played on the monitor in any case material provides for better grades!
Someone runs the HD3870 with an HD monitor? If yes, what with drivers and with what result? I have installed CCC 8.8, but noticed that a few days before the 8.9 came out. Obs is better?
Is the HD Storm of a better preview image to be expected?
