Hello! So I have the following problem, I would prefer my old videos to your PC and then burn a DVD ...
I wanted to my old LG VCR one TV.Karte And take a Scart to S-Video Cable Then, at the whole record with WinDVR aum Calculator (so I usually watch television and take up)
Unfortunately, it works nciht and I do not know why ... I already had the suspicion that the VCR is too old, so I brought my mother, my new .. But it is not synonymous to ...
The TV card has, moreover, follow end connections:
Antenna Video S-Video Audio Out
I had already considered synonymous if it were up when I take a scart cable which goes to yellow, red, white ... But I do not know where to put the, because the TV has only yellow card of the ...

1 / Are you 110% sure that you s.der TV INPUT have a video card?
2 / If yes, then get smart about SCART ADAPTER. There are three basic varieties in two flavors. The most used variety with VIDEO OUT NOT work with your plans. And the flavor SCART to S-video works seltenst.
Good luck The fat Stefan

Hi!
I had the same problem and it was s.Scartadapter. You need one that both can be used as synonymous out, s.besten with switches. Have bought me one of HAMA at Media Markt (15 ¬) now it works. But the quality leaves much to be desired, so keep VCR and play the videos there! :-) Achso, you need to stop bein Capture program and the composite audio cables through a s.besten adapter plug directly into the sound card (Line IN).

I'm not surprised. A TV card is not the optimal link between VHS recorders and computers when it comes to digitizing / editing / archiving of analog video recordings go. ;-)
The tiresome topic: FireWire FAQ">1. (c) Why do not capture using graphics card, TV card or video grabber?

Addendum:
I used a harness, the white of yellow, red, goes to S-Video.
Antwort von Markus:
A yellow RCA plug (2-pin) transmits a composite signal, S-Video (4-pin), a Y / C signal. If one feeds a composite signal into a Y / C connection, we get only a black screen.
What is this adapter?

I have a cable s.dem 4 RCA connectors (yellow, red, white, black) on one Page and S are on the opposite page video in and S-video out and the black RCA. Of Hama Scart adapter with switch in / out, and three RCA and one S-video jack.

Hi, so nothing will happen .... You take an RCA (yellow) from your VCR s.The TV card, so that you have been times the Picture (in color), then if the VCR has, 1 (or 2 for stereo, black and red) RCA cable, and now you still need an adapter that brings you the RCA cable to a 3.5mm jack. This then comes s.The soundcard (line in). Then you fetch you the Virtual VCR from the I-Net. for example here: http://www.downloadmix.de/dmix/index.asp?DokName=detail.asp&soft_ID=9008 As a source where you choose for the Picture Composite and the sound Line In. And get going. But I warn you against too much expectations. The result will be pretty bad. It would be better capture the image signal input via the S-video, BUT this would have to have the recorder has a S-Video Out and the only S-VHS equipment .... And s.besten sher well-suited for a map ... But they cost a few Teuros beyond the hundred (the really good ....) Good luck
