Connection of the NV-GS320 s.den PC? As because, without a battery?

Moin zusammen!
I am recently of the NV-GS11 NV-on transition GS320 - GS11 which had the front Firewire port side under a flap in the GS320 is connected (!!!) the Battery.
Should a debt spreads its citizens? Do I understand correctly that I am only recording on the PC, if I buy additional power?
I refuse to believe - I think at the moment more, I make a logical error, can not be so stupid to Manufacturer.

A power supply but you have already! Power cord into a jack, firewire to the other, where exactly is the problem?
