Hello! I have currently NEN Core 2 Duo with 1.86 GHz (E6300). Now I would like to upgrade. Would be an Intel Core 2 Qad with 2,4 Ghz or better prefer a faster Core 2 Duo with 3.2 GHz? I work with Magix Video Maker 2007 Plus, 2 GB of RAM and graphics card than a Radeon 1950 Pro with 265 MB DDR 3-store ...

I guess that Magix video on multi-core specialized, and you have more fun with a 3.2 GHz Core Duo has ...

but felt just right. It should be quiet times of individual benchmarks CPU Front. It is not that of the quad and everywhere always faster. It always depends of the process, whether the 4 cores are more powerful. That is, even within a totally different program. Gruß Jörg

Why do you want to really upgrade? Magix Video Deluxe falters in HDV editing still in 2Gb Ram and a 1,8 Ghz Dual Core?
Antwort von leoHDV:
Magix is generally very tough, so I already consider the whole time, another editing program to buy. And because I have just been a Christmas gift gift wishes:), I would go to find a quad-core to buy, because of the Intel Q6600 has 2.4 GHz and can be combined with good air cooling hesitation to 3 Ghz and more over clock and another 4 GB of RAM. The Magixprogramm once when there was a video magazine to win, so I am not much would make me a new cutting edge program to buy and just like the hardware upgrade synonymous.

with my computer configuration (see below) runs HDV DV Editing totally effortless (and incredibly stable) together with Pinnacle Studio 11th PS. The increase of 4 to 8 GB of RAM has brought me nothing more. So do 4 GB's synonymous ;-)
