Frage von auric1979:Hi,
I try it again this way:
I would like a 3 min. Create animation in After Effects, which will operate on a 50 "plasma TV (; Fujitsu Siemens Myrica P 50-2). According to Manual, it can constitute 640x350 / 640x480 / 800x600 / 1024x768 / 1280x720 / 1280x768 / 1280x1024/1366x768.
The animation is s.Ende either a video or DVD as a file, run on a laptop and be connected s.den TV (mov)..
My questions:
- In what format should I invest in my After Effects project? (; Resolution, pixel square or not?)
- How should the notebook be set (; resolution)
- How should I render out the final animation s.Ende (; settings, size, resolution, codec.)
I work on a Mac.
Since I finished the DVD / File tomorrow night must have done, I would be very, very grateful if someone could help me!
Thanks in advance!

I would do it like this:
After Effects Composition: 1280x720
Rendering: Mpeg 2 1280x720 50p 30Mbps
Can you play it on Blu-Ray player, etc. or as a file in media player
In the notebook, I would then set the native Resolutionvom PlasmaTV.
I think it is in this case 1366x768 pixels.

This would have the effect that I no bars (above and below) would have, right?
Antwort von auric1979:
Oh yes, I should be careful with respect to the pixel format that? (Square or not)
Antwort von Eastside:
leave at 1280x720 square composition
containing the default of one of the two HD broadcast formats 720p or 1080i.
The TV should if he is correct, show no black bars.
The TV has an aspect ratio of 16:9.
The animation 1280x720 synonymous.
So everything should be beautiful Full Frame.
Antwort von auric1979:
A video DVD burn in this format would make no sense, right? Since then I have a DV-PAL Egebnis, right? Which reminds me: Is it ever a movie as a video DVD burn, without having black bars?
Antwort von Eastside:
Yes you can.
Then create your composition in Pal 720x576 (; widescreen).
The pixel aspect ratio varies differently with any software.
Then export finished as synonymous Mpeg 2 720x576 widescreen.
The DVD player you have but synonymous say that a 16:9 TV is connected, otherwise you have synonymous beam at a 16:9 DVD for example when he is set to 4:3 Letterbox.
Of course the picture is not so sharp as well if you do it in 720p.

A video DVD has in our region is always a score Resolutionvon 720 x 576 (PAL).
Everything else is not a video DVD and playability in a stand-alone player would depend of the individual potential. A disk - what format are synonymous - for this player will not run in many other players.
If the television is not connected via HDMI or component that does not synonymous, since composite (via RCA or BMC), S-Video and scart the picture is also transmitted in a simple resolution.
PAL has only two options: 4:3 and 16:9. The Resolutionist in both cases, 720 x 576 dots. It is therefore the aspect ratio of pixels varies. The coding is included in the data stream and is transmitted in analogue Picture synonymous with. Black bars can thus arise only in bottles set of players and / or Television.
A 16:9 picture on a super old Television produced no black bars, but a laterally compressed, full-size picture.
