Also I plague myself with about unexplained crashes in Premiere Pro 1 (v.7.0), however, smear me the program once already (!) After you click on Export / Movie, while it displays the "Serious Error" dialog.
Deactivation almost all video codecs do not work, it could be s.einem audio codec?
This is a fairly large project, there may be several s.den plugins / effects that I have already installed (Twixtor, SteadyMove etc.)?
Makeshift I use the Adobe Media Encoder, but fear I do not reach the best quality so if I want to encode fit the movie DVD.
Has someone an idea about this, or is already helping to update to 1.5 / 2.0 to fix the problem?

orangerd, that sounds not good in .. -update to Premiere 1.5, the solution could really be .. once had a similar problem and an update has somehow brought about the desired solution.
If you have not yet synonymous update you can try the version you have installed on another computer on a network and then import it to your project and then export it to .. works great if all your data are sorted, otherwise it is difficult.
oh you can look again if your hard drive has enough memory, as is formatted ntfs and perhaps bringts what if you have leaves open the taskmanager .. strange but often synonymous already brought benefits.
cheers red kiwi
ps: gibts ne solution for this pretty sure;)

When I read the thread title, I bet with myself to bet that the premiere is?
I can not contribute more synonymous. One must draw the necessary conclusions, or even get angry next. Unfortunately my experience from the production area. Premiere is simply not suitable for productive use days and longer synonymous projects. Too much annoying (and true!) Crashes. It can not be that the program would be called a professional and has always been unstable. Apart from missing features.
By the way: As a last resort you can try to play the movie on tape and reimport with a real program.
If you want the best quality anyway, rather sit on other mpeg2 encoder. Procoder eg etc.

Yes, after what I have heard here so I do not regret it as almost to have inserted several hours into this project, with a program that abschmiert me in the most important moment. That can not be real ....
Now synonymous nor denied the issue on the Adobe Media Encoder with the "Failed to return a frame" problem. Update this encoder does not help.
The cut itself is fairly modern PC, dual Intel 3.2 GHz 1024 MB Ram fat hard drive ... it should not fail also.
Thank you for your prompt help, what editing software you could recommend for so PC? Or I just look at me again here in the forum to ...

Hi All, I plague me at the time synonymous with Premiere Pro and the identified problems around here. Everything actually runs quite stable but then lubricates the program again with anything from what Exeptions. If I eg. Click on the monitor, or as described here, try zustarten an export. There must any patch or anything to give what remedial creates?
