Hello, I am planning some sites that are to be equipped with videos. After some testing of the VP6 codec of Flash 8, it has done to me. Just because the software can create reasonable FLV or SWF with VP6 video content? I know so far:
On2 Flix Pro expensive - but good
Sorenson Squeeze 4 - Awful quality / ultra-lame
Snosh and Videozilla of Softdiv - works only with mpeg sources
The codec is good, and it exists even now for some time. Just why is it
Of hardly any software support?

Perhaps this has to do with that expensive licenses must be purchased if a software vendor wants to use this compression method?
Alternatively, looking at you the free time available to Windows Media Encoder. Even on the Mac can now play WMV videos.

Thanks for the answer, but imho Can not be, and VIDEOzilla Snosh Softdiv cost of each 30 and 50 USD respectively dominate Flash 8 (VP6) of Macromedia's strategy has always been to spread next flash as standard. The other software products, it is not support ignorance and / or ignorance :-)
