Frage von Dante:Tagauch,
Different things to me are still unclear what the DVD Backupping prosecuted and the "Compress" a finished DVD.
First, if I have a DVD, which is a con about 2 hours playing time, has wanted to copy to another DVD, I now need 2 discs, because the quality was usually pretty lousy!
Now I know that it is possible to watch a DVD on only 1 (!) DVD copy, with the same quality!
What is needed is to store the DVD to VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS to, or convert (?)!
Now, how to do this step? Because you need special software?
which is synonymous not just copy the DVD on a PC or something?
Are there other ways synonymous DVD on just one DVD copy, with quality itself?
The thing is that I have several DVD recordings, and they want backuppen now, and since I have a fairly large Ferneh, a plasma with 42 inches, I'll need the best possible quality!
Thank you for your help!

Since everything is already clear.
There are many DVD-copying tools that can shrink a DVD copying.
Technically, the transcoder is running under the concept.
Same quality you will not get there - which is because the smaller space will be gained? This misunderstanding in your question is a cause for the silence.
The other reason is that the dissemination of the most popular and Tips Transcoder Programs by the Copyright Act in 2003 are no longer lawful because it is often synonymous program containing parts that could remove a copy protection.
Good luck

The "Backuppen" copy-protected DVDs in Germany is now Illegal.
If not kopiertgeschützten works you can grasp as to Nero Recode.

As my outpost suggests, however, it is inevitable that the halving of the amount of data associated to a two-layer DVD with a loss of quality. This holds, however, often limited. Otherwise you have to hold dual-layer DVD-R burners and an appropriate use.

When I read the question, I clicked it away again, because I already had a tough discussion behind me ("... why not go with free software? The film is still synonymous ?!..."). ;-)
