I draw on my films Hercules (TV SMAT) Card with Power VCR II. These settings do I use the Mpeg2 with 2600 Kb Now I had my Windows XP (SP2) system up and then shows me Windows does not preview images (thumbnails) of video files anymore. However, only in this format. DVD / VOB, Mpeg1 So VCD / SVCD work. Only Mpeg2 is nix. I run a movie file, then run this in the player (Media Player Classic) correctly but after a few seconds the Explorer reports that he s.Speicher address xxxx can not read and crashes. The movie file is next. I try now to start the Explorer, then these reports in the memory protection violations. I have wide variety of codec pack (K-Lite) (XP Codec Pack 2.xx) Requirements. Unfortunately without success. To cut and save the movies I benuze Ulead Video Studio 8 The baud rate can I do 2 movies in good quality to make a DVD. So Mpeg1 VCD / SVCD work. Only Mpeg2 is nix. No idea whether this helps your troubleshooting, but the SVCD uses MPEG2. Only the VCD is satisfied with MPEG1.
