Someone came schonmal to tinker with the idea a little Camera Dolly / Slider of Lego art?
I ordered the parts to the DIY Follow Focus with Lego and are up to now, unfortunately, not all the items there, but with the wheels and gears is really very nice gentle movements make and with enough plates would have to be here synonymous achieve high stability .
The only problem I see currently in the compound of Lego technology and the quick release plate, but it certainly can be solved similar to the follow focus.

Weight of the cam (biggest prob) with small SpyCam not an issue synonymous Compact Cams quite ok VDSLR more difficult Henkel Cam harder.
Warning LEGO NXT can be addictive ;-)

A unit can be controlled but already three or more engines.
Now some engines from industry (he has connections to Airbus and Daimler), and already is this a cool thing, I hope: D

I'll try it. One can distribute the weight on any number of wheels and strengthen stability by toothed plates.
