Hi folks!
After the miniDV tape my cam do zicken before, I got me to stand-alone portable HDD recorders (for example, looked Firestore4) ... but they are all Ziehmlich so expensive (around EUR 600) :-(
So now there's video iPod ;-)
Would it be possible to hack the iPod video so that you can use it as a recorder for raw DV data via firewire in FULL QUALITY / RESOLUTION?
Then we would nen) Recorder (with display, a 30GB hard drive, powerful battery and all that for 300EUR (and which is determined) or cheaper!?

it would be nice yes, yes, but in the Firestore is something even more hardware like an iPOD. An MP3 player is tinkering itself is not so difficult but a Echchzeit HDD DV recorder is something really quite different.
But there is another brand of cobalt sowas resembling to as the Firestone gates, just google for it.
But imagining what I could, Macro Systems Launches a Firewire to DVI box with 80Gb HD to cache out of HDV. The record, according läst Macrosystems but not read, but to expand and and s.den PC anschliesen would work. The Gorss Hacking is the price of 1500 ¬, because you can actually just buy an HDV suitable Firestore.

Camera comes from the transport stream, the only way around the data rate and thus synonymous, the size of DV. The firmware of the Firestore disk actually makes nothing next to the organization as the plate to ensure that needs, but the iPod is synonymous. We are talking here not about the play but to save. Of course you must play in the calculator, or on the camera, however, whether this is in Firestore beyond my knowledge.
