FAST PCI IEEE 1394 CARD
Windows recognized it immediately once synonymous and I was in good spirits.
But my Programs Vegas, Unlead Media Studio 7.0 does not recognize this device and therefore not synonymous my camera.

If you have a digital camcorder with Firewire port, an IEEE1394 controller an excellent choice. For digitizing of analog video you need an analog / digital converter, which then transmits the signal s.The Firewire interface.

An OHCI-compliant IEEE1394 interface s.Calculator is usually sufficient to connect a DV camcorder. Perhaps you can find some clues in the next article, what might be the cause nor that the computer ignores the camcorder:

I have the following problem:
My plug in FAST PCI OHCI compliant IEEE 1349 card is recognized of Windows but if I s.den the Camera DV flange nothing happened.
No previously installed program recognizes the camera or let any device.
System: WIN XP
Software: already installed: WIndows Mediastudeo, UNlead MediaStudio, UNlead Video Studio 7.0, Vegas 5.0 and 4.0
Presumption: Drivers out of date but of Windwos installed?
Please help me!

The OHCI driver is more of a universal constant for a constantly changing variable. This is synonymous one of the great advantages over the USB interface.
You write that in addition to the camcorder synonymous other devices are not detected. What devices are they? Exclude and how you can be that the cable is the reason? The latter was perhaps
too cheap?
