Frage von Chris1955:After my SonyTRV33E almost 18 months has worked smoothly with my PC via firewire, it does so no longer. I can not remember, but the display of the camera always DV IN displays and the best of intentions can not say whether this was always so or only now. By coincidence, the camera no longer works well, since I have updated the BIOS of my ASUS P4P800 Deluxe (stupid word). However, synonymous to install the old BIOS brought no change. As software I use Video Deluxe 2004 Pros, has so far always work, but now the camera is no longer recognized under Windows XP SP2 (previously synonymous works, it's probably not s.SP2). Jeamnd has made similar experience with a Sony DV-cam ... with which I am otherwise very satisfied. The camera works fine otherwise (recording, reproduction, etc. s.Television) I've tried 3 firewire kKable been synonymous. What can be broken s.der Camera Interface? And what can I possibly even try s.Reparatur, because I live in Malaysia and each service is extremely unreliable heir. Greeting from the tropics!

The camera is OK in this regard! Just test them but from a friend.
With the BIOS update and SP2 has behakelt probably something.
There was something with Prescott problems with Asus.

Antwort von Peter S.:
In the BIOS update will normally set all settings to default values. Go through once all the settings if FireWire is turned off, or perhaps because the allocation of resources has changed.
