Hello,
I did understand as a question:
My Panasonic NV-GS120 times wanted to bathe in the sea and unfortunately it has technically been adopted. It is of course synonymous nor a cassette of it but I've already written off.
Now the problem / question:
I have not yet imported some (digital) tapes. To this single, I would buy another Cam.
The question is, what kind of quality do I need? The GS120 is a 3CCD camera. Do I need to capture to a reasonable result to get the same model? 3CCD or another? Also of Panasonic? Or just a cheap camera from another manufacturer?
Perhaps more interesting is: an acquaintance with his Cam wanted a tape of the GS120 capture. This has led to drop-outs. This Liesen only if he avoided with the GS120 has worked.

If you're not the images recorded in LP, you are pretty good chances for SD tapes. These opportunities are s.größten with an identical camera. In HD models, there are more problems. ich hab 'mal problems with high-8 tapes had, because the drives (within the norm) were calibrated differently.
For MiniDV hab 'ich usually the problem with one run a cleaning tape may be minimized.

Assuming that you wait for its regularly Mazen leaves, these usually have no problems with "foreign" DV / DVCam tapes.
