I want to buy a new DV editing PC for HD editing (P2HD and AVCHD). The plan is to cut in Edius 5.5.
After much research, I now have some hardware combinations that I would like once for discussion.
Some hardware I have: BluRay burner, DVD Burners, AC adapter, sound card
As hard disks are SATAII HDDs are used. On the first hard drive the operating system on three more in the Raid 5, the video files.
The cost of hardware ug should not initially exceed 600.00 EUR.

Option 3: Memory (RAM): 3GB DDR3 Ram with 1333 MHz - 3 x 1024MB
CPU: Intel ® Core !" i7-920 4 x 4 x 2.67GHz @ 3.60 GHz
Mainboard: Intel X58 chipset motherboard SilentPro proven ASUS P6T Deluxe v2
What do you think? I understand that the course is suitable i7 s.Besten for HD video editing. Maybe yes, but would be synonymous, the better models possible?

Edius 5.5 mE realtives ressourcenshonend and AVCHD footage can work with.
Have yourself an inexpensive no-name system with AMD Phenom X4 965BE II, 8GB Ram, onboard graphics, Win7 64.
All this runs for me without RAID and DV editing partly synonymous with external hard disks over USB.
Thus far I have not had any problems - everything goes chic:)
But with a core i5/i7 you doing on any event, synonymous nothing wrong.
