Is there a way to reduce the humming something? I just dug up old recordings of 1997, and the hum of the drum head is almost unbearable.
Have I bought Pinnacle Studio 14 Ultimate is as perhaps as a function built in? There were synonymous for records such Programs, which could feed you with a "crackling" track and then have filtered out according to this crackling.

Audacity is free in the first place.
Adobe Soundbooth of can quite well, just like Audition - to filter feeds a "bare" buzz and a (not always great, but is often better). But the cost a little more money.
If Pinnacle can do that, I do not know, but this is possible.
