Servus together, I need a tip.
Purpose should be the production of documentaries on specific regions. So far, I am a photographer.
For three reasons, I visors of the DV format:
1. s.dem much because I want to rework the material and does not want to feel the pressure that every time you save losses occur.
2. because I want four audio tracks, which are in HD, I think there is not always
3. Later films such as I might want to offer TV channels.
What startled me is in Comparison to HD resolution and low ... itself could well prove to be a stumbling block for some time, because people all migrate to high-definition flat screens?
But the professional systems such as HDCAM Betacam or what the cameras are probably very expensive terms. Therefore DV only seems to stay, right? I would buy it used, because more than 2000 .- are not in it.
Had not been properly understood if HD and DV cameras are easy s.den switchable options for which it is only for the storage media, or whether there are separate for each format cameras.
The camera should be as big and heavy, because I want to use it synonymous for shooting from small aircraft.
It should
- There are three possible large CCDs
- XLR connector,
- A * very * good optical stabilizer,
- A very good auto focus,
- A shoe for an external microphone,
- A lens that ranges of 50 to 300 mm,
- If it goes a top carrying handle,
- A display with viewfinder function
- And if it is at all an upwardly tiltable viewfinder and on the sides.

As recommended, the Canon XL 2nd
The records on MiniDV, 16:9 and can be a good camera.
Or perhaps PD models of Sony.
Some (many) HDV cams can record on SD synonymous - in other words, the recording format would change.
A used Canon XH A1 of course would be synonymous of advantage as it can record them synonymous HDV and SD to Mini DV tapes.

Your details are contrary to the 2000 ¬. For DV would be used as only a Panasonic DVX 100 out of the question that ultimately the best DV camera (imho). Or a used Canon XH-A1, an HDV camera.
Furthermore, there are other models which is beyond your price limit, in any case: Panasonic AG-HVX 200 and SonyPMW-EX1.
