I stand before the task for a video festival, the technology together.
Of course, everything is so cheap and easy to use as possible.
Obviously, the video artists have the opportunity to present their projects in the best possible quality.

MiniDV also from miniDV player, etc. ..
Now it is so of the approximately 100 videos on a single computer to be played. (The artist wants it so ...)

That surprised me very much. I know only festival on which HD as lower standard applies. The 2k-projection is good, 35-mm normal.
Only isolated, there are still playing Digibeta, DV still rare.
It now affects only the mixture ratio.
DV is bad. DV is dead, the artist with DV is a video on DVD or Digibeta off. Then his Picture synonymous better.
And DV is synonymous of MiniDV play. Not for nothing is the stuff digitally. Should he just umkopieren. 100% the same quality.

First off: This is a video festival. So = 35mm film is hardly ever debate.
And you should not believe, but the proportion s.Einreichungen in the HD segment is still very low.
It is actually still people who with DV are completely satisfied.
In two score, I am not, however, you think:
Firstly, a transfer to VideoDVD is both a compression and thus in each case and verlusst flawed.
And secondly, I hardly think that already recorded material to DV output to DigiBeta a significant image enhancement takes place. It's because, while the corresponding Postpro content added.

Nonsense. DV videos on Digibeta much better. Digibeta is 4:2:2. Staircase effects and Farbkanten Upsampling joined by little more.
Somehow you're right, the picture is no better. Why synonymous? But halt, of course you forget the color correction. Once you make something with the colors, effects, something in the direction, it looks and in uncompressed 10 bit much better. You can do much more with the grading in 4:2:2 and with less compression make.
I bet with you, when I uncompressed DV material and in 10 bit and 4:2:2 do, a lot of colors do s.den, CG and then add a video DVD with CCE SP2 to create, then this looks much better than when I worked in computer and of computer play.
It is a myth that the native editing in DV would be the best quality.
