Hello.
I know this topic is not new.
On my new (second hand calculator) Jerkiness my old DV movies.
Calculator is a dual core 4300 with 2 gig ram its Geforce 7800 GT, etc. So fast enough. On my old calculator 1.3 GHz with its 64 mb graphics card everything ran super.
The problem is that the DV video in Vegas and only in VLC Media Player is running properly. In the Win Media Player, Zoom Power DVD or jerky and it causes a load of approximately 60%. Otherwise, all other media files without any problems. Also, the calculator is running as it should. Make music and games without any crashes. Have been looking for hours in forums and am unfortunately never came to my result.
Drivers, Settings, Codec, Direct X, etc. already tried everything.
If I change the hardware acceleration exhibit jerky it is no longer synonymous but not exactly beautiful (light flicker).
I'm already a bit s.verzweifeln because I eigentich quite familiar with computers. (bin Cutter)

Avis If the DV with VLC run smoothly, but in DirectShow players playing problems, it's usually s.Filtergraph. VLC brings its own "play system" (for DV-Avi, the libavcodec library of ffmpeg is used) with, not to prejudge the MS own Abspielweg too.
To determine how the "normal" Abspielweg on your system, go to a DV times - file with Gspot (http://www.headbands.com/gspot/); MS A / V is the Standardabspielweg you displayed when you press the 1.
Then you choose the 2, do you see in the preview, if it is jerky (which is probably after your description). Then choose at times beside the Gspot Vid 1; you like to be here (with the installed on your system codecs / filters possible) alternative ways to play out with 2 and is rendered with 3 of the selected graph play. Do you have a functional way, so you choose from the menu System-> List of codecs and other filters; lass for "driver file" search and sort the functioning codec, click the file choose s.and with the right mouse button, "Set filter merit" . MainConcept codec ran without any shakes, but there was bild / ton asynchronously and the utilization stood at 90%!
NEN will probably have little need to experiment. unfortunately I can not explain it. I will look again, what codec-away my old computer used. if you do not have ideas, I would be very grateful to you.

In the ffdshow configuration, you have but the Dv decoder to libavcodec set? Otherwise there schau mal synonymous with the Direct Show options, if a hook at "only use ffdshow in:" is set, if so, away with it!
Here (in XP) is running the (video -) graph as follows: source-> mediasubtype_avi-> avi splitter-> Mediasubtype_DVSD-> ffdshow video decoder-> Mediasubtype_YV12-> Video Renderer. Splitter and renderer is the MS-quarz.dll.
Write it out, the exact error message as failed ... output pin on avi splitter to input pin on filter ... Which files behind the individual stations hide, you will find the way, right click-> Item Details

Erts I made. Secondly, I must try again. was really annoyed because I have six hours s.den settings gerödelt have. am today in the long channel and will give you time to write tomorrow if it works.
seems to me any problem with DirectDraw to be. I think that the times I've turned off and then on until the light started flickering. even though I test in the directx nothing negative said.
stop me wondering just that the dvsd codec is not running and so ne high utilization generated. with vlc, I have only 0-1% dv utilization. :-O
yes I could actually synonymous to no preference and I'll just have to vlc. but I would like to solve the problem.

moin. So my old computer uses the synonymous to qdv.dll. habs times with trying to exchange. nix. the hook in ffdshow I have done away. nix.mein graph currently reads as follows:
source-> mediasubtype_avi-> avi splitter-> Mediasubtype_DVSD-> dv video decoder-> Mediasubtype_rgb24-> Video Renderer.
dv of the decoder is said to qdv.dll
error when ffdshow to me GSpot raushaut is:
failed to connect output pin 0x04956a6c ( "out") on ffdshow video decoder to input pin 0x0465ef7c ( "VMR input0") on filter 0x0245cd76 ( "Video Renderer") direct connect () failed. errror 0x80040207: (unknown).

so, have now made the last test and my old GeForce2 (elsa Gladiac) with 64mb built-times. and lo and behold ... I had feared. everything went great. no bucking and cpu utilization at 10-13%. my 7800GT runs perfectly otherwise. habs mal synonymous with older drivers tried. can someone explain to me the times? it is just to mouse milk.
