Hi,
'm new here in the forum and looking for a USB-Box, with which I both DVB-S record as synonymous VHS material may digitalsieren. Embarrassed at the relevant manufacturers such as Pinnacle made acquainted, but unfortunately can only be "either or" devices. Would be grateful for any hints as to whether it is a box or other device for notebooks ever exist, or whether the problem could be solved otherwise synonymous. Please not too complicated to express: o), am Beginners in the field.

What I know is that it seems as Emfpänger TV USB boxes are s.die is synonymous external video sources, such as the VHS recorder, can connect. However, here, where I have seen, the only analog television. What I need, would halt a TV receiver, DVB-S can be and offers the possibility of external sources will be added.

That would be so a TV card. Analog TV reception and the possibility of times an external AV signal zuzuspielen.
However, this solution (as with almost all Eierlegende Wollmilchsäuen) serious drawbacks ... but you all already know. ;-)

An
analog TV card need of house to be able to convert analogue signals to digitizer. The option of using composite or Y / C synonymous then other analog source digitizer, is virtually a waste product of this technique.
The
DVB-S card is already receiving digital signals and it must be only on hard drive write. Hardware, something could Analog Digitizer, is not normally installed.
It may give combi cards (at least for analog and DVB-T sowas hab ich schon gesehen), but these are just 2-in-1-solutions (such as a coffee machine, which can be synonymous toast). Then you can just as well in addition to a normal DVB-S card Videograbber buy another and have the same effect.
That one for
high-quality digitization of analog sources prefer an external AD converters and possibly an additional TBC should use, is another matter.

ok, first thank you for the detailed instructions. True, Analog and DVB-T synonymous, I have already seen, so I was synonymous all the time asking why I sowas not for DVB-S and analogue think. True, I can then of course a grabber and a DVB-S card to buy extra, but I was drawn to this, there would be synonymous in one device installed. Werd dann mal me for a solution around.
