Frage von heffermann0:Hello,
I eineCanonHV20 that records in HD and DVD.
On the old desktop PC, I can no preference whether St.12 and St.14 Pinnacle, with a 6-pin FireWire connector s.PC and a 4 pin connector s.derCanonHV20, capture without problems in HD or DVD (AVI).
DieCanonHV20, St.12 and St.14 of will is immediately recognized and auto, if I set HD 1440/1080 set, or even, if I set to DV (AVI), 756/520 set and then captured as synonymous .
Now my problem:
I have a new notebook (Core i7). The notebook has only a 4 pin Firewireingang as synonymous dieCanonHV20.
And over these 4 pin Firewire connector, I can only capture in DVD (Avi - or Mpeg).
When I dieCanonHV20 now terminates on HD output, it is recognized of Pinnacle St. 14 synonymous to operate the controls, but the preview window remains dark, and it will not get sound synonymous.
The settings are bit on Mpeg2 ES 1440x1080 frame size and data rate 25th
Even on my LCD television (not HD), is no picture and no sound when I have set as HD output via the DV output, Picture and sound is perfectly normal.
I have bought already synonymous a new 4 pin cable (Hama 15, -), does not synonymous. On the camera so it can not be synonymous, because over the 6 pole cable works.
Perhaps even knows of someone you some advice!? Because if you have HD, then yes you want to edit their videos synonymous in HD!

Have you ever in the "REC / INP-reviewed SETUP" s.der camera, whether you really have HD recording? There should be "HDV" is selected. Then you have the menu "DV EDITION" also set to "HDV / DV" position.

I have reviewed, as has already been written, with the 6-pin Firewire cable, I can capture in HD or DV, with only the 4 pin DV.

Which operating system is running on the laptop?
Vista? Then it could be a driver problem of the Firewire interface on HDV. Is probably s.Vista.
Upgrade to Vista 32/64
SP2 or Win7 might help.
Good luck.

On cable, it will not lie, anyway. The extra 2 pole with 6-pin connectors used for power (of course, if it is) on both sides of the cable into a 6-pin Male.
I would tend in the direction of synonymous Vegas9.

OS is Windows 7 So even topical.
I suspected that the firewire port on the notebook, the HV20 HDV material does not recognize. Such a thing can be resolved through driver updates - at best.
But it can of course be synonymous something else.
Maybe this can resolve a support request by email to the NB-Manufacturer?
What driver updates are available specifically for Windows 7, is synonymous to the website of the manufacturer.
Greeting
Vegas

Thanks again for the replies, I'm going to take care of the s.den Support and Drivers.
Antwort von RickyMartini:
The NB-Manufacturer and whose support has not done so much to do! W7 downloads the drivers of the camcorder, if that was found!
My SonyDCR-PC101E can be used even under
W7 x64 after W7 has sought for several minutes after the Drivers.
HDV is not about the HDV footage on the tape - it does not matter! W7 HDV must find Drivers and install. Where the camera in HDV mode, searching for the driver and installation works as well!
