I would be happy with the DVD editing company, then turned himself s.PC video editing and would like s.besten step by step approach. Say me, slowly moving, exercises, etc.

The most important tip: that you first for an authoring program. Because DVD is a simple, logical structure, I recommend more of an ambitious program. Beginner programs offer rare access to all settings that have a surface and mostly silly prefabricated menus and buttons, you must first get rid of cumbersome. They are an affront to intelligent and creative people who want to understand what they do.

A DVD program has an interface to manage the media that you are from your editing program exportierst. If you know someone who uses the one, he's you in half an hour at (Still image editing has a lot more aspects and requires a lot of exercise).

The DVD Studio Pro Book Of Uli Plank is pretty good. There is nothing written down. Many tricks, knowledge about the next manual. There are even extra chapter on video technology, video formats, etc.

Photoshop Bible, because I would prefer such a small SmartBook take. For DVD Studio Pro, I have before the first import the entire manual first - for version 1, there were several hundred pages - quergelesen, the backgrounds are encouraged declared dry. If I were synonymous otherwise lovely flowery language, instructions I can not sober enough. Then I sat out and made my first simple DVD that I've only after thorough testing by fire, because a blank disc costs 15 marks.

I think that DVD authoring is the lightest with what there is. Time of very stark Scripting apart. Compressor & DVD Studio are a great combination. Fairly intuitive. I could immediately without manual operation.
