Hello,
I have a Philips DVD recorder with hard drive and burner - this has unfortunately given up his spirit.
It is a LiteON DVD / CD RW DRIVE MODEL DDW-813S.
I voted with their fingers wundgesucht, but this model is found nowhere else!
Can I help inrgenjemand of white:

b) if I have another problem such as a burner dobbler layer DVD Burners may be installed, so I with the inclusion of flexible size bin? - How will the drivers installed - or if auto-detection?

The sellers must mark you assume that you have specific models in your burner DVD recorders construction. If the drive with a standard IDE cable in the device is connected, you can simply try another drive to install - is recommended for testing of course, an existing burner from the PC. Even when it's funzt (I assume no liability!): Your recorder is synonymous in the future, only the disc support to its firmware has been designed. On working DL support, I would hope not ... (Apart from running DL blanks anyway only a few DVD players.)
